Sisters United in Service invests continuously in women-owned businesses in poverty-ridden communities through Kiva.org. Through these women, these underserved communities are healthier and safer as their businesses become stronger and more successful. Some results of these on-going investments include fewer people who are malnourished, education is prioritized and incomes increase throughout those areas. It’s another small but powerful way to make positive differences in our world.
Sisters United In Service (SUIS) is made up of eleven women who each bring their own expertise to the table for community service. By leaning on one another’s strengths, we are able to accomplish more in the community. From collecting school supplies, to assisting with various shelters, we are committed to providing a helping hand.
The mission of Sisters United In Service is to:
- Extend services to others by using our collective expertise in various capacities.
- Extend a global helping hand to others.
- Enrich cultures
- Seek to address societal pressures
- Uplift communities
